After the Chronicle of Higher Education piece and a series of new arts, education, and activist opportunities, I needed a break. My apologies for remaining so quiet for so long as so many of you still suffer the slings and arrows of abject stupidity perpetuated by college administrators, tenured oligarchs, and desperate wage-slave staff and fellow “field” adjuncts hoping to become “house” adjuncts.
My promise remains the same now as when Josh started the Adjunct Project: we are in this together.
And I love you.
I know that might sound weird.
And yeah, maybe even too “new agey” or “Zen” for even this Long Island exile living in New England.
But, I do.
I love all that you do.
All of you.
This is our time, and we know it.
The next two to four years will be our opportunity to show how intelligence and compassion can transform the world.
Our world of the classroom.
Our various states and countries.
But most importantly, we will continue to transform ourselves.
To become the best versions of ourselves and to live a creative and mindful life with courage!
